Arrival Procedures

• Parents or guardians will be asked to sign in their child(ren) and fill out a childinformation sheet, if they have not already done so. Children will then receive a nametag and parents/guardians will recieve a matching number card.

Dismissal Procedures

• Parents will pick children up directly from the classroom.
• All parents must present the numbered parent card.
• If they do not have the nametag, the floater should be called to verify their name on the child's information sheet.  A photo identification must be presented that corresponds to the names listed for pick-up.
• The child must be signed out on the sign-out sheet.

Below are opportunities to serve in the nursery ministry of Brownsville Assembly of God.

• Paid Nursery Staff

  One paid nursery worker oversees each of the different classrooms or the sign-in/registration area.  The paid worker is responsible for the implementation of curriculum and classroom procedures.  Paid nursery staff is also used for various church events when childcare is requested.  Paid nursery staff must attend scheduled trainings and meetings.

• Volunteer Nursery Staff

  Our volunteer nursery staff assists in the classrooms on Sunday mornings.  They are scheduled on a rotating basis.  Volunteer nursery staff must attend scheduled trainings and meetings.

Screening Procedure

All those involved in the nursery ministry must be screened.  Below is the screening process.
